11/11/2008 - We got great news, last week, from our good friend (and groomsman) Andy Webster. His band, Bo Bo Denk, will be able to play on our special day. We saw them rock out during Maggie and Andy's wedding last year and begged them to come to Seneca Lake in 2009. We are so excited to have them come and know that everyone will enjoy their funky beats!

09/24/2008 - We met with Julia and Kurtis Kracke of Kracke Photography and are excited to have them photograph our big day. In addition to being super-nice and easy to work with, I was impressed with their albums or wedding pictures and their overall style. Surf on over to their website to check out the images on their blog.

09/13/2008 - This week, we found a delicious baker to make an excellent wedding cake. Also, a florist has been reserved and she had some gorgeous ideas about colors and flowers that will well accent our July wedding. In addition to wedding plans, we've solidified more of our itinerary for the trip. Click on over to www.PatrickandMaryGoRound.com for all the details, cities and adventures to come.

09/05/2008 - Mary and Mrs. V have been working on finding invitations for the wedding and seem to have found an excellant source! They describe them as pretty and we're excited to see how they turn out. With a slightly nerdier slant, I've found a great tool for printing postcards and we've picked a design to send out some Save the Date cards. We're planning to put those in the mail before we leave for the big trip.

09/02/2008 - We hit a snag with our wedding date and have moved it to July 10th, 2009. So, save that date, will ya? Isn't there some saying about fooled you a bunch times... we can't get fooled again? Maybe. Anyways, we feel 100% this time that the tenth is our date and that will be our anniversary. We're in the process of printing Save the Date cards printed and mailed out before we leave the US for a few months.

08/08/2008 - We have a hard date for our wedding - July 18th, 2009! It's a Saturday and we are working on putting together some Save-the-Date postcards. Until you get one in the mail, take this opportunity to electronically save that date. Check out the Wedding Details and Local Info sections for more information. See you next July!
July 18th, 2009 - Save It by Patrick M. Moore
07/21/2008 - After some thinking and talking, we are making some slight changes to our wedding plans. We have moved our date into July of next year and have a reservation for July 18th, 2009. We are both VERY excited to celebrate our reception on the magnificent Seneca Lake at Wagner Vineyards. Wagner's is located about 14 miles north of Watkins Glen on State Route 414. It has spectacular views of their vines, Seneca Lake and faces West for a magnificent sunset. More details about the vineyard and surrounding area are coming soon.

05/20/2008 - After scoping out the 2009 Calendar, we have settled on a wedding date: July 25th, 2009. In the height of summer, this is a gorgeous date to visit Upstate New York. The trees will be full, the water will be warm and the vines will be grape-full. With more than a year to work out the details, Mary and I will be able to visit the spots this July to get feel for what colors and smells to expect.

05/18/2008 - We are still nailing down the details, but we have a "hold" on the Esperanza Mansion on beautiful Keuka Lake. We are still checking into venues to have the ceremony, but we are in love with the vintage ambiance and excellent vistas that Esperanza offers. More information about the location is available at www.EsperanzaMansion.com.

05/12/2008 - Mary and I got some good scouting around the hills of upstate New York. We are following up on some good leads and hope to narrow down the locations soon. One thing is for sure, there will be alot of grapes growing this summer in NYS wine country. What a beautiful place!

05/08/2008 - We are heading up to New York this weekend to check out some sites near the Finger Lakes. Our plans include several places along Seneca Lake, and a trip to both Kueka and Canandaigua Lakes, as well. Should be slightly colder than the mid-July temps that we're used to... but all the better for building a fire.
